Title: Negative Space Acrylic Pour

Intro:Negative space is white or blank in art, And my class nikua have made negative space acrylic pours. 

WALT: Are plan was to make colorful desk tops with the wood we used

Explain:First we started with watching a video, which I didn't like because she made the worst joke and thought it was funny, But is showed us how it is done. We started with putting white all over the canvas(Are canvas are just pieces of wood). Then we poured the color of our choice on the canvas. Then we used a straw to get the paint to the corners. Once we had done that we moved on to the next task. The next task was simple. All we had to do is dab the balloon in the paint. Some of my class spread the paint so there was no negative space left. 

Reflection:I personally thought this art was cool but I could have chosen brighter colors to make it look better.

Pointillism art 

W.A.L.T learn how to make a apple using pointillism 

Pointillism art is one of my favorite type of art. Because I’m bad at line’s, So I was happy when my teacher said that we were making a apple using pointillism. Pointillism is a art style using dots to make objects instead of line’s. My teacher gave us a video to watch and copy it .

The first thing I did was make a outline for the apple and then I made the stem with the leaf. Then I went over the out line with a vivid but I did not use line I used dots because that was what we were meant to do since it was pointillism and then I colored in the leaf not with dots though because I thought that looked cool. Then I made the stem black because I thought it looked cool. Then I made more of a outline by putting more dots slightly to the inside. And that is how I made my pointillism apple.

I'm not a artist, I'm not really even that good at art. But this dose not make me dislike it. In fact its one of my favorite things to do at school. I have made a cool art project recently . and I thought It will be cool to blog it. I quite like formula E and I thought it will be fun to draw there upcoming car what they will use in 2021.

It is not my best piece of art. If I did it again Ill make it longer and make the wheels even and the floor of the car as well.

it was Saturday school for the week was over. this would be amazing because you could go see your friends. but sadly this was not the case thanks to lock down so i was bored at home until i saw my mum and dad up on top of the hill. I was curios so i went up to see what was going on. They were planting trees I asked if they needed help "we do not need it but if you wanna help you can" my mum said. I did because I did't have anything to do. First we needed to place the plants on the ground so when they grow they wont hit each other. Then we dug holes to put the plants in then we went and fulled in  the holes with dirt that we dug so we didn't need more dirt. as we were doing this i grabbed some water from inside because my dad was thirsty from digging the holes after that my job was taking  the plants to my dad who was digging the holes then my mum and sister were planting the trees ones we had finished on top of the hill we went to the bottom of the hill to plant the rest there weren't meany so i didn't need to help. so then I made a step then my sister joined then my mum then my dad. once we finished we went up to the hose and had some lunch.

if you have read the last post I've published you would know that in the lock down we(my class nikau) have been doing projects at home. We do these projects in the afternoon in are final block of school.

I've already have done cooking what was fun. But i needed to come up with a new project. I chose to do art. I looked on YouTube for a cool pattern video. I found one what looked cool so I chose it. and did that same things that he did.

My class (nikau) has been trying to find ways to do inquiry. in our bubbles. So our teacher, Mr. P has
given us(nikau class) some task’s. These are; Cooking, Science, Coding and Gardening.  I chose cooking
because I felt like donuts.

Here are the  Ingredients ;

Cooking spray

1/2 c. milk

1/4 c. plus 1 tsp. granulated sugar, divided

1 (0.25-oz.) packet or 2 1/4 tsp. active-dry yeast

2 c. all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. kosher salt

4 tbsp. melted butter

1 large egg

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

First we greased a large bowl with coconut oil. Then we used a small microwave safe bowl to heat up the
milk. Then we added a teaspoon of sugar to the milk and stirred. Then we sprinkled some yeast into the
milk and  waited for it to rise.  While we were waiting for it to rise, we put salt and flour into a medium
sized bowl and whisked it together.  Then we used the greased large bowl (greased with coconut oil) and
put the sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla.  Now the yeast had risen, we (my mum and I) had to tip the yeast
into the large bowl with the sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla. Then we put flour and salt into the large bowl.
And then we mixed it. Then we put flour on a board then we put the dough on the board then kneaded the
dough till it was elastic. Then we formed it into a ball and put it in an oiled bowl. Then we covered it with a
tea towel and put it in a warm area. And leave it for an hour. In that time it should have doubled in size.
Then we put the dough on the board and punched it down. Then we put the dough and board in a corner
and sprinkle flour on the table then we made the dough into a big slab and used hockey cutters to make
them fun shapes. Then we put them into an air fryer. We only could do three or five at a time. But they
only took 3 minutes to cock. When they are all cooked it's nice to bump them in malted coconut oil and
dip them in cinnamon sugar. This is a long but easy way to make donuts. But they tasted amazing.
We found that without cinnamon sugar it tastes like sweet fry bread. Have you ever made donuts using a

WALT blending and shading use oil pastel media.

for the last few days me and my class have been making pastel art of a night sky
I  to use a compass or a protractor to do the moon then we Had to get the color
pastels and black pastels as well  as colored and then I got a white pastel and
drew the stars. Please comment on what I should do next time.

Today me and Kobe were learning to see what the diffracts is between a fake email and a real 1 like say you got a email and at the start it said your name it is probably not fake if it  has something like hi friend then it might be fake I did not say that we did it with are cyber smart

MY WEAPON OF CHOICE

MY WEAPON OF CHOICE

You're surrounded by zombies you don't know why they are after you and then you hear someone says
here have the weapon of your choice what will yours be?I 

My own will be a  creative mode like on mine craft because I will be able to fly and not die and stuff.

My first reason is because a will be able to fly so a can cet place is far far far far far away and say zombies
are like every where you can fly and then say get react bots and point the finger 

Reason 2 not die yeah so there are flying zombies I guess. They attack you because there zombies you fall
but you do not die because you can't.   

Reason 3 you can place things if you wanted a house get the mats for it out of your inventory.
And if you are good with a bow and arrow you can get infonet arrows. And then you can go
up to someone with a
poo bow and then give them a new good own and maybe rub it in their face a little.

Tessellation

 For art we were doing tessellation what is basically a joining shapes. we got a bit of card and then we made a shape at the bottom then cut it out then put it on the top then we got a bit of paper  and traced it on.

Jim dine

 This is my tool, it is based of Jim Dine's abstract art. I tried to do a hammer. but it failed so I did a knife because it was better then the hammer because it has less different shapes. this is how I did it.
Step 1. do a outline with pencil
Step 2. go over it with charcoal.
Step 3. make a shadow around the knife
Step 4. do whatever more designs or things.

Today we learnt how to make a film and we did camera shots and angles with are cyber smart teacher we did the activity with pairs I did it with my friend because it would be to hard we did this activity for film making what we will attend later this year. My favourite angle was birds eye view I quite liked this experience because  of getting the camera and me  to the right place was a fun challenge we used  web cam toy to take the photos and used things around the school to get the angles

this is my art it is off based Gabriel merinos art so the first thing we did was do the out line then we did the inside like all the patterns then we coloured the patterns with a ball Point pen or a Vivid to make it black pen and if you did int see it is my face but side ways.

rugby league

rugby league

we have been playing rugby league for the last term we have learnt a drill called trucks and trailers and how to hold the ball and how different league is compered to normal rugby. League is a game that you can play touch or tackle. When you get tug or tackled you put the ball thru your legs and roll it back and then a dummy half and then the dummy half passes it to anther person then they have to run to the try line with out being tag or tackled and if you make it you have to put the ball on the ground then they have to run back to his or her team with the ball and kick it and then the anther team can have a go.

we(Totara class) made animations with are Cyber smart teacher her name is Donner.I learnt to make stick men and to get images of thins and more we used google slids it was fun so prity much all you have to do is add stick men and move them and add voice boxes and more things
